PERSONAL CARE

                                     Companionship

Our Companions provide the support and supervision that will enable your loved one to enjoy continued independence, while getting the extra assistance they need to remain safe and comfortable in their own home.  We encourage our clients to perform and participate in activities such as running errands, outings, to increase their independence.  We have observed that getting started on a limited basis, even a few hours a week, allows your family member to see the benefits that outside assistance can provide.

                                              Meal Planning and Preparation

Well balanced meals are an important part of a nutritious diet. Our caregivers can assist in making a grocery shopping list. Specific meal plans can be created to fit each one of our client's needs. Example: Diabetic diet etc, low cholesterol diet, renal diet etc. Meals may also be prepared in advance and kept frozen to be eaten at a later time.

                                              Bathing, Dressing & Grooming

Personal hygiene can sometimes be difficult to maintain when there are physical limitations. Our personal care attendants can provide assistance with showers, shaving, bed baths, dressing, oral care, applying make-up and setting hair.

                                              Medication Reminders

One of the biggest concerns is that a parent or loved may not be taking their medications as prescribed. Our caregivers will ensure that a client is taking medications properly. Medication charts are design for each client and are charted when the client has taken their medications.
